The hike is best done as a multi-day trip with camping at From the Rubble Creek parking lot, follow the trail uphill through the winding switchbacks until just beyond the 6km marker where you reach a junction. Accessible: July - October. Panorama Ridge is situated right between Black Tusk and Garibaldi Lake, with Mount Garibaldi and Table Mountain across the lake, the Tantalus range visible to the south, and an endless sea of glaciers and rocky peaks to the north.

At this point, you have reached your destination. From here you have the option to hike (1.9 miles / 3 km) to Garibaldi Lake Campground to have lunch and a swim before reconnecting with the Panorama Ridge trail. After a half mile of climbing, reach a junction for Pebble Creek and Camp Muir. The finale of the hike is the final climb/scramble to the summit of the aptly named Panorama Ridge. Return to the Panorama Ridge junction and turn left to make your way alongside the scenic slopes and back into Taylor Meadows.

To reach the Rubble Creek parking lot, the start of the trail to Panorama Ridge via the Garibaldi Lake area, take Highway #1 (Trans Canada Highway) west towards Horseshoe Bay.

The trail is signed for the Black Tusk Recreation Area. The trail to Panorama Ridge from Rubble Creek is not so much difficult as it is long. The trail snakes up the side of the hill, eventually onto a ridge where the vegetation starts to thin and the terrain eventually becomes all rocks. Panorama Ridge, located in Garibaldi Provincial Park, is one of the most scenic hiking destinations around Vancouver.Starting near the towns of Squamish and Whistler, British Columbia, Panorama Ridge Trail features lush red cedar and Douglas fir forests, Alpine meadows covered with blooming wildflower, incredible glaciers, and mountain peaks.

Located on the opposite end of the campsite, high above Garibaldi Lake, Panorama Ridge offers a full panoramic view of Garibaldi Lake, Black Tusk, and the Helm Lake area.

Panorama Ridge offers an incredible view overlooking Garibaldi Lake. Continue driving along the highway until reaching the town of Squamish 45km later.

It's inviting however, this hike will be saved for another day. Just before the ferry terminal, watch for signs to Squamish and merge onto Highway #99 (Sea to Sky Highway) northbound. You will need to take some panorama photos.
